Mrs. Susan Vaidya Shrestha is a business woman who believes in necessity of woman empowerment for the development of the country.
Her father, late Vijaya Gajananda Vaidya was the well-known businessman who introduced Toyota vehicles in Nepal.
Born to a well-established
industrialist family, she understands the value of economics and industrial revolution. She
graduated with a BA (in Economics) from the University of Rhode Island, USA after completing her
high school education from Loreto Convent, Darjeeling.
She is also the Executive Director of United Traders Syndicate Pvt. Ltd. and Guranse Tea. She runs
John Dewy’s School as a Director. In her opinion, education is one of the key factors to pave the
path for the overall growth of the nation. She was also the judge of Miss Nepal 2016.
Besides being an inspiration for women to be an entrepreneur, she loves to promote
contemporary Nepalese art/music and showcase Nepali culture to the rest of the world. She is
also the chairperson/founder of E-Arts Nepal. Apart from her passion towards work, she likes to
spend equal time with family and travel to various national and international destinations.
