Mahindra and Mahindra, a $20.7 billion multinational group based in India, with a presence in more than 100 countries and employing over 240,000 people and with operations that span several key industries that form the foundation of every modern economy, has inaugurated the first solo auto exhibition in Nepal titled ‘Mahindra Udaya 2019’ at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu, today.

The three-day exhibition, which the company claims to be its first and biggest lifestyle and auto show, was inaugurated by Bhawani Rana, president of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry.

Mahindra, the world’s largest tractor brand by volume and India’s largest utility vehicle manufacturer, has put on display more than 30 products that it has been promoting and selling in the Nepali market at the exhibition.

During the inauguration today, the company also unveiled new products in the Nepali market. Mahindra has unveiled its widely-acclaimed SUV XUV 300, and the Marazzo which is an MPV. It also unveiled the Jivo 245 and the Yuvo 415 tractors. In the heavy commercial vehicle segment, Mahindra unveiled the Furio and Blazo 25 and the G75 grader.

According to the company, it has been selling and distributing its products in the Nepali market for the last 27 years.

The company also informed that the exhibition is being jointly organised by its authorised distributor for Nepal Agni Incorporated, MV Dugar, Swaraj Partner and Mahindra and Mahindra.

As per the company, it will be showcasing its wide range of two-wheelers, passenger vehicles, trucks, buses, electric vehicles, tractors, generators and heavy vehicles during the exhibition.

To add to the excitement, the exhibition will also feature live performances by various artistes and food stalls featuring different varieties of food.
